A zine (short for fanzine or magazine) is a non-commercial and non professional publication of original text and images.
It's a way for people to express themselves and connect with others who have similar interests!Q: What type of zine is Galasynth?
Galasynth is a no profit, digital-only yearly zine, meaning that there will be a new edition every year. As of now, we have no plans of making physical versions.Q: Are ships allowed?
You are allowed to draw multiple characters in your piece but we ask that you do not draw ships. NSFW is also not allowed. It's a fashion appreciation zine!Q: What vocal synths are allowed?
All characters from vocal synth programs are allowed, including UTAU, SynthV, Voiceroid and others.Q: How many artists are you looking for?
Starting from this year, we have decided to limit the zine artists to 100. We are very happy for the overwhelming support, and we hope to have you with us soon!Q: Do I need to have previous experience in zines to participate?
No, you don't need to. The choosing process will be based on your portfolio.Q: Is there an age requirement to join?
For the safety of all contributors working on the zine, you must be at least 15 years old to join.Q: I have a question not listed here!
